should be in your profile folder:

    C:\Documents and settings\USER NAME\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\USER NAME.default\Cache\XXXXXXXXd01

    enter: about:cache?device=disk
in the URL bar and press enter to find out more details

To get there in the Explorer you might have to unhide some folders.

After clicking on the APP DATA 3 files appear:

    1. Local
    2. Locallow
    3. Roaming

I would like the actual html links as is so I can save them in files of my choosing, like IE. Firefox methods saves all in one HTML page. Ridiculous.

You can backup the Profiles folder here C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.
Edit: What do you want to do exactly?

Thanks for this. I've installed it but really I do not see anything regarding saved favorites.

All I want to do is to simply move the favorites I imported into Firefox from IE which also includes new favorites that I've added. I want to save the favorites from Firefox to folder on my c drive so I can have these links whenever I have to to do a format. IE is easy as it shows all the html files that I've saved in folders within Favorites map. But for some reason I do not see any html files that I've saved or that I've imported into Firefox from IE.

The link you posted to show me where to go does not produce any saved html files. I've even shown all hidden files and still nothing. all I see is a map called: 51iahis9.default and there's no html files I see that I have saved.

Click Bookmarks > Organize bookmarks > Import and Backup from the toolbar. FF saves the bookmarks in "json" format, not html links.

I tried the very first time but it is still not want I'm asking for. Backing up the bookmarks has you mentioned only saves all book marks as one file. I do not want it saved in one file. I want to be able to the links individually. So if I want to use IE instead of Firefox how can I use the files that I've saved from Firefox? When I first installed Firefox and wanted to browse the net it asked if it should import my favorites from IE. So it did and it did using the same html links. But it seems impossible to go the other way round from Firefox.

If you've saved IE links from the net you can go right into the Favorites in the C drive and see the individual links that you've saved. Am I right?

This is exactly what I would like to do in Firefox.
