This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     where are the windows update files located in vista?

    I am having a problem trying to update the .net framework something or another with windows update and I had this exact same problem when I tried to install SP1. after 6 hours the only thing that worked was to delete all the downloaded update files and let the downloader DL them again. and now I have forgotten the folder extension they were in.

    They are located in C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Updates

    or windows updates something like that but it's in that folder
