Anyone know a software that will automatically replace xp icon with vista? Or steps on how to? Thanks
-
You can't replace the XP icons with real Vista Icons however you can use the Vista Transformation Pack to do similar, among other things:

you can download icon packager here: http://www.download.com/IconPackager/3000-2195_4-10031210.html
vista rtm icons here: http://alanoycn.gouse.net/article.asp?id=214

Actually you could. Use a software called Icon Tweaker (google it). I also downloaded an icon package called Vista High FX, which gave me all those nice looking one from Vista

It's probably a good idea to create a system restore point before using it -

Ouch, luckily I didn't have that happen did you use version 6 Final?

You can also google the "Vista Anthrazite Theme Pack". I've been using this for a month now and looks good. It also includes Vista icons.

No transformation pack... I tried using VTP before and it came with some nice viruses and corrupted cabinet (after reformat and deleted viruses). Thanks everyone for the help.

Your IE Icon looks like IE 7 Beta 1 version

Just notice that. Oh well, you win some and lose some I guess.

1. Buy Vista Upgrade.
2. Place DVD in drive. Install. Enter product key when prompted. Wait half an hour.
3. Login to Vista. All new icons!
Sorry, couldn't resist a smarta$$ response. Just ignore me. I really don't have any useful advice for you. -
