Might not need one? Maybe its preactivated or something similar to Windows OEM restore disks.

If it asks for a password I suggest you ask the person you bought it from.

    Hi.

I bought the disk`s from a legit online retailer.

It turns out i do not need a serial-password, I just had to install the disk.

I have been using the 30 free trial version, and after the 30 days it asks for a serial number.

So i decided to buy the OEM version and i expected to have a serial number with the disk.

    Anyway all is OK now.

    thanks.

    John.

definitely good to hear. I wonder if the licence is embedded on the cd itself or do you think it could be installed on multiple computers? Its probably not legal, but I was just thinking theoretically. How is mcafee in terms of resources? I haven't used them since 1997.
