i was using k-lite mega codec pack when i was using win xp. but now i installed the same pack on vista and it seems to corrupt with windows media player 11.
i tried the k-lite codec pack 3.01 full on vista (from the sticky thread) but it doesn't seem to play rmvb or rm files. or is there an add-on for it to play those files?
thanks for any help

http://www.cccp-project.net/
Supports Vista since 2/07
MPC+CCCP -
FFDShow and VLC for me.

you can simply open the rm files in windows media player.
i use vista codec pack 4.3.9 with everything associated to WMP 11. So i don't need to install 20 different players while i can just use 1 -
So I decided to try and install Vista Codec pack and I keep getting the error 7-zip unspecified error. What am I doing wrong? Using Windows Vista Home premium with WMP 11.

i've tried all the other ones mentionned but i'm always getting problems (either no sound or no video). but thanks to all anyways for the help -
