hello, i think i tryed all virtual programs and all worked fine. but as virtualpc is free i sticked to it. recently i wanted to install solidwork09 and try some games on the virtualpc and found out, that it only has a 16mb graphic card. this doesnt rly allow me a smooth working so i wonder if any other virtual-software can perform better?

    i heard virtualbox lets u increase the gfx-space up to 128mb ?

would be usefull if the virtual-software can be installed as x64 (should run faster?).

    thanks :)

virtualbox supports video memory sizes up to 128 Mb.

Try a) reading the documentation and b) looking through the virtual machine settings, especially the video section.

ye i installed already virtualbox and it seems to be fine.. just that i cant find a option to reset the hdd after each reboot..

e.g. u execute a .exe with a virus, after reboot everything is like before u executed that .exe

Take a snapshot and you'll be able to revert to its state, undoing any changes.
