Firefox on windows 7 is crashing like crazy on sites with flash or video playback.
I just cant figure out why. its driving me nuts. never ever have i experienced crashes in firefox like i have in the past 2 weeks. I also have only 2 plug ins installed so its not that either.

I used to like firefox and wouldnt use anything else but this issue is pissing me off so bad its making me think about going back to internet explorer.

What version of Firefox, flash, and Windows 7 are you using? I have Firefox 3.5.1, Flash WIN 10,0,22,87, and Windows 7 RC build 7100, and I never have crashes with Flash on any website.

I never had a single crash. I would reinstall Firefox first, if you have not done so already.

ok i will try reinstalling firefox. everything seems up to date. its mostly video playback thats crashing. i thought it was flash too but all the times that it has crashed video has been involved.

    firefox version 3.5.1, win 7 32 bit rc 7100, flash version 10.0.22.87 (10.0 r22)

I have crashes all the time on W7 RC1. Although I'm still to try it on RTM.

Uninstall Flash and Firefox and re-install them (don't install over).

Curious: did you clean install Win 7 or do an upgrade install? I've yet to see W7 crash (build 7100) and I did a bare-metal install on my T400.

That's why we always suggest a reinstall first. Glad it's working now. :)
