This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     win 7 PRO -just changed all my desktop shorcut items

    Can someone please help - this is very irratating.

    All my internet short cuts froon my desktop have chaned to a globe. even if i create a new shortcut itappears as a globe

    what can i do

    what browser do you use? Maybe you suddenly set Internet Explorer to default?

    ok figured it out. i had copied the shortcuts from the desktop of a nother computer. even though the internet shortcut links work they show up as a globe
