    hi,
    if i install win xp on a usb drive which is ide do i still need the raid/sata
    drivers and intel matrix storage drivers.i have vista home premium on
    my dell inspiron 1520 installed and wants to dual boot win xp and vista.

    i use my usb hard drive as secondary.
    my primary has an vista premium installed.i mean to say if i do not add
    sata drivers to my win xp cd through nlite and on booting my system
    through cd will it be able to detect my usb hard drive as it is ide and
    can i install win xp on my secondary hard drive.
