Ok, multiple DHCP profiles are possible on Vista, just barely, though the use of third party utilities.

Does anyone know if Win7 improves on this? What I need to do is to set my wireless adapter to run full-on dhcp for some networks (mostly school) and to run pre-set IP (address, dns, etc) for others (home and work).

Not all wireless routers properly support MAC Address/DHCP IP Reservation properly and in any case I don't control or admin all of the routers and APs I connect to.

    ???? and thanks
