At which point during the xp setup does it give you that error code? Does you computer boot up fine with the preloaded OS?

Some newer hardware will require XP SP2, earlier versions will fail to install. I have an Everex laptop with a Via chipset and CPU that suffers this problem. It's often related to your graphics chip - which I see your's is very new.

I'd first confirm the SP2 requirement. If it is required then solving is a matter of getting SP2, which is free. From what I understand, there is a way to slipstream a service pack into/with an installation CD of an earlier version, creating a new SP2 install CD. From what I understand of it, when done and used right it's not any kind of license or copyright infringement. I've never done it.

Download XP SP2 on a torrent or something, burn it then install with your current serial number.

And yes, downloading what you own is 100% legal
