    hi i recall hearing about windows 7 corrupting mp3 files. was that with the beta or the RC?

    with the beta. the beta doesn't run anymore anyways so the problem is solved.

    for the beta, all you needed to do was windows update.

    it was actually windows media player that was corrupting the mp3s, not windows 7 itself.

    WMP was corrupting the lead in where the track data (title, artist, etc) is stored
