This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     does anyone know what this is and the key differences between this and a normal windows 7?

    Those special editions are pirated versions of windows 7 and you don't know what special software(like trojans) they include in that download(Remember, there is no such thing as a free lunch).

    Also, discussion of pirated software is against the forum rules, so thread closed.

    Having the right hardware(like a strong GPU and modern CPU) is far more important than tweaking the OS when it comes to gaming.
