windows 7 on white macbook... my thoughts

well i decided today to install windows 7 on my macbook, i like to do some programming and i thought, my gateway 6860 17 inch laptop is big and heavy to carry around. so i decided to install windows 7

i used bootcamp to install, partitioned the hard drive, and it was fairly simple, once installed my interned worked straight away. So i put in the snow leopard disk and now everything is working aok, mouse double click and all.

and i have to say, wow, it performs extreamly well, i mean like alot better than my gateway, which has it in it, it just seems more smoother, snappier if u will, and my gateway has an ssd hard drive.

sure open a few programs arent as quick to open but its still pretty darn fast. i have to say im really impressed with how flawless it seems.

which macbook you have? by the looks of it, i deduce that it's the old gen one with the intel igp? yeah, these are known to run windows like champs. Almost all the drivers in that laptop are present on windows already. so this makes it a perfect machine. so how's battery life like? and what kinds of temps are you having?

 

its the 2006 macbook white, 2 ghz core 2 du0 , 2gb of ram, the gma 950 intel.

runs real smooth and yeah all the drivers were pretty much there, the battery of mine lasts about 3 hours , round about that, the temps i have no clue, but it runs real nice.

i have to say im liking it alot, think i might sell my gaming laptop that i used to game and program on, i dont do anything that demanding, nice to play games but i have consoles for that
