This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    windows 7 vs. vista for program compatibility

    I can't find the answer to this question. So I'm hoping someone can help me. I've had a horrible time with Vista, For example, the drivers for my HP printer won't install. A Sony photo program doesn't launch. Both of these work just fine with XP.

    Does 7 eliminate these kinds of problems?
