hi. i was playing around and HID my date and time in the system tray. now i can't get it back. there are no options in any of the date and time settings or calendars. please help!

You should be able to right click on the taskbar > Properties > Notification Area (or something similar) and there *should* be an option for Clock.
As I am not on Windows 7, I would appreciate outside confirmation/correction. -

go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Notification Area Icons\System Icons
then up the top there is 'clock and change the drop down from off to on

right-click task bar, properties, under Notification area, click "customize," at the bottom click the "turn system icons on or off" then use the drop down menu to turn your clock on.

Yeah, I'm not sure what you did, man.
Other than ticking the box we've already mentioned, I can't think of another way to "get rid of the clock."
Outside of third party apps and registry "tweaks" of course.
