    I can't delete it because maybe when I did a scan i removed something I shouldn't have or it's just a _____ to remove. it says the installed product doesn't match the installation sources.

    Microsoft windows desktop search or msn toolbar. It won't uninstall...
    It says search desktop w/ the msn butterfly, if u click on it, it says windows desktop search results/

    are you talking about IE? how are you uninstalling and why do you say it isn't working?

    Are you sure you want to remove the MSN Search Toolbar with Windows Desktop Search from your computer?

    I clicked the icon and got the same message as add/remove programs.
    The installation source for this product is not available...

    the installed product does not match the installation source(s).Until a matching source is provided or the installed product and source are synchronizes, this action can not be performed.
