So here is the issue... windows explorer most of the time seems to be nice and snappy, however when selecting multiple files, or going into folders with a lot of files (such as my downloads folder with about 50 ish files, total folder size is about 2 gigs) the system will just hang for 10ish seconds... sometimes longer, until it then loads everythign up. as a note, I have done a defrag already, and this is a clean install as of yesterday evening. my machine is a xps m1530 with a a 2.5ghz dual core processor (t9300) and 3 gigs of ram, my page file is also off and my machine is optimized fairly well (using the guide on here for which services to turn off and such) anyone know how to fix this incredibly annoying issue???
