    windows is detecting multiple displays on laptop??

    I have an alienware m9750 with CF 3870 cards...

    Windows is detecting that there are 2 displays, when there is only the laptop display on...

    "The answer can be found here. It works. You will have to edit your registry (Start, Run, Regedit). Be sure to export your current registry as a backup first, just in case. Then in Regedit, Edit, Find, Unknown Monitor. You will see two monitors - the first one is probably your real monitor, and the second is the phantom. Delete that monitor. "
