    windows media disconnects wireless connection

    i keep trying to view highlight videos on NHL.com and when i do windows media pops up in a new window and never connects. at the sametime it disconnects my wireless connection. i have to reset my modem to get a connection. ive noticed this happens on other sites as well. any ideas?

    ive solved the issue just wanted others to know...


    if you have linksys wireless routher befw11s4 version 4 with the new 1.52 firmware you will have issues playing embedded video in windows media player and real player - video wont play and instantly disconnects your wireless signal, only a router reset will fix that.

    i reintalled the old firmware version 1.50.14 and so far have had no more issues. basically this is a firmware problem.
