windows update crashing windows?

for the past two days i have been fighting with windows update to update my laptop. there are 7 important updates listed with 3 optional ones. every time i try to install the updates windows fails to start during the reboot. i have attached the list of updates available and my update history.

should i go one by one until the culprit is found?

 

am having issues with my laptop.its refusing to boot into windows. i tried formating but it wont boot from CD what should i do?

 

That's what I'd recommend. I had to do that once, except I had tons of updates-- I'd just reinstalled Windows.

i think i found the problematic update. it was the Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 sp1 and family update. it would just hang on installing. i have it hidden. how would i go about installing that.
