    windows update destroyed my comp

    Well not exactly destroyed but it does it's lil sp1 update crap restarts and oh great on the windows startup fatal error c00000078 (something like that) on update opearation 282 of 111592 and froze couldnt boot into my comp couldnt do nuttin. Soooo reformat wipe everything redo all my drivers re update everything now I dont even know if I want to try to install SP1 again.

    Luckily my external drive had all my irreplaceable data but it's still annoying reinstalling everything and losing all my bookmarks damn you microsoft -shakes fist- ur auto updater SUCKS

    also a lil side note 800x600 rez on a 30" 2560x1600 is very comical. my mouse pointer was so gigantic i thought i was trippin

    ps: this was on my desktop not laptop incase any 1 wondered

    dude I agree I bought Microsof office 2010 and put it on my laptop and my wifes laptop. This year I bought two new ones and office said I had reached my limit of authorized computers. Well I un-installed them from the older laptops so why cant I put them on my new ones. Oh, so I called Microsoft and waited 99mins really 99mins on hold waiting for the microsoft guy to fix the problem. AHAHAHAHAHHAAHAAAHAHA (shaking fist)

    There is no such thing as a windows error c00000078, not listed in any of the tech references. If you want anyone to try and help out you need to be EXACT when listing these things.
