    Hi guys,

I run Win7 and have had this error on my windows update for over 2 months now, I've been waiting for the problem to fix itself but it hasn't. It's not out of laziness, the only solutions I can find (eg. on the Windows website) is about deleting temporary files in my update folder, and I've tried that multiple times to no avail.

My computer is currently stuck in an endless restart loop basically, as each time the update installations asks me to restart, then when that happens it fails to reconfigure, reverts the changes, only to ask me to do it again on startup!

What do I do? What other information can I provide? Thanks!

There been some issues with the windows 7 Updates recently. I had it too.
What I did, was to install manually the updates, one by one, and reboot windows at every single update installation.

    It worked for me..

I had the same problem for a month. You can hide the updates, and that will solve the problem. But if it's a really important update then hiding is not a good idea.

There's also a windows update fix program from MS, can't remember the name, try Google
