    windows vista problem, need help

    I bought a dell inspiron (about a month ago) with windows vista , and, from all of the sudden, this sign starts appearing on my screen. it says that windows explorer crashed, and here are the details

    I wish I could take the time to test this on my own computer (I'm not having the problem though). But here is a little guide to help you out.

    When vista says it has crashed. I would recommend checking to see what caused the error. Usually shell extentions from programs cause the error so check around. On this website, skype was the reason WE was crashing so he disabled it and it worked fine.
    "I had the same problem, checked the vista generated report, it pointed to SKYPEI~1.DLL – after disabling the Skype add on – problem fixed"

    i already got the program, but i think that the extension causing the problem is from windows

    . if u have vista sidebar, deactivate it and see if it helps
    . safemode and try to get all latest vista update and see
