Regional and Languages Settings in the Control Panel should be able to do what you'd like.

    First PC = Vic-20, 8" 128KB Home-Brew Floppy Drive ... Current Rig = eMachines m6805 ... Quantum Leap?

Go to Control Panel-->Regional and Language Settings. Click on the Languages tab. Check the checkbox next to Install files for East Asian Languages. Click on OK. It will then ask you to insert your XP installation CD, and proceed with the installation of Korean language files.

Changes in Control Panel-->Regional and Language Settings will not affect the basic languages in the system. Seems the only way you can satisfy that Korean guy is to install a Kerean Version. :)

this is correct. i installed the korean xp os for my friend's father. you cannot just change language settings, you need a full install of the os.
