Hi, I am in a gr8 trouble, few days back i bought a sony vaio sz430n from ebay which had windows vista buisness installed in it with a 160gb of hadrdisk with only c:.
i didnt like vista that much bcoz its not compatible with many of my programming environments so i decided to install a windows xp.
I have successfully made two more partitions E and F and i have also installed windows xp on E:.
now the problem is that I dont have device drivers for windows xp and bcoz of that my internet is not working as windows is not recognising my intel pro wireless/abg card and also my monitor resolution is not good(it seems its right driver is also missing).
I would really like to know how to get the drivers for sony vaio sz430 for windows XP and how to make my notebook to use wifi on windows xp. I have done many windows installations on dell xps m140 and inspiron 1410 and my hp desktop. but this time i am really stuck. any help is really appreciated.
I need help as soon as possible.
Thank you.

I've been there with my last notebook. And the problem is even the backup/restore disks are only usable with the original OS installed. In your case, I think you'll need to find an XP compatible Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection Driver and nVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 Graphics Controller Driver. You may want to double check that these are the ones one your computer in your device manager.
I'm guessing you can connect via LAN? If so, Intel has devices you can download to check for compatible drivers you need for your computer with OS.

As for your Display dirvers, you can find some information on this thread:

Hope you find what you need! -
hey thanks for the reply!
now my wifi is properly working because of your help, but still i have a screen resolution/graphices problem.
my windows xp is not showing up on the full screen rather it is leaving 2 inches vertical black lines on both sides i.e. left and right, and when i try to scroll vertically thn it takes some time and it seems as it has to refresh the screen on every scroll.
once again thanks! -
Did you download the new Graphics Controller Driver for XP? Here's a download for it:

If you already did so, try this:
Have you checked your Screen Refresh Rate? If not, check to see if it's 60Hertz. In case you're not familiar, the Higher the number, the slower the refresh rate. The lower the number, the faster the refresh rate. There should be a box you can check to be sure that it only shows Hertz compatible with your dispaly.
Just in case: To get there, GO TO:
1) START>CONTROL PANEL>APPEARANCE AND THEMES>DISPLAY>
2) SETTINGS TAB>ADVANCED BUTTON>MONITOR TAB>
Or you can right click on the desktop and go to properties. Then follow number two above. -
have you tried the sz-330 xp drivers?
