    forgive me for asking, but what do you mean by that????????

    did you remove it first? go to add/remove programs, windows applications (or something like that) than remove wmp11, and then re - install it.

    have you tried to doa file search for all wmplayer.exe files or just a search for windows media files? if you find them you can try to manually delete them. even if it cuases any errors it would cuase the reinstall to work since it will want to correct the errors.

    Just my own suggestions. I by no means a windows expert :( :eek: :eek:
