that doesnt work for SP1. they have blocked both methods. Theres only one way of bypassing it, using astiv.exe

can you give me the unsigned drivers filename? it should be .sys

I can make a better workaround just like for RMclock

Whats the .exe file of i8kfangui called? Also what is the exact path for it (eg. C:/program files (86)/xx/xx.exe)

it does work for sp1 here, using ready driver 1.1

I am using it right now, awesome simple utility, no farting around needed

flipfire, do you use rm clock for overclocking your cpu?
I've never used it, downloading it now

you cannot overclock with rmclock. You can only undervolt, underclock and modify advanced cpu settings

RMclock is only for the CPU. Overclocking needs to be done through the motherboard FSB

    got it, thanks

Ive still got a pin modded dell 9300 running from years ago but I've forgotten all this. I think I used notebookhardware controller to undervolt before I put the pin mod in 1.7>2.26 with standard voltage

No chance you've heard of anyone being able to pin mod an x7900 ? (my bios does not allow for overclocking)

    thanks
