I remember that in the discussion about this deal for students, $59.95 for Office Ultimate 2007 at www.theultimatesteal.com, people mentioned that it was a 1 laptop and 1 desktop use license.

Well I have multiple laptops and desktops that need Office, so I thought it couldnt hurt to try.

So I did. So far, I have successfully installed it onto 3 machines, they all installed/validated/activated/work fine.

    So...ya?

It seems as though it's an educational version. That would mean that you need to have an @XXX.edu e-mail address as well as be enrolled in classes. I know that my school (Virginia Tech) provides software that is volume licensed and can be installed on multiple machines. That doesn't mean that it's ethical.

Yeah, I'm thinking this is a clear violation of the EULA that you agreed to. Thread closed.
