I'm going to college soon and I ordered an e1505 w/ media center. Did I make a mistake? Do most colleges require xp pro? If so, can I upgrade to xp pro from mce?

Some colleges, like the one I'm going to, require XP pro but give it for free at the beginning of the school year.
