No, not yet.

Only RC2 ( not reccomended)
-
any eta on sp3?
-
XP SP3 won't come out until after Vista SP1, for sure. Few weeks after official release of SP1. I'm guessing mid-April to late April. Unless it gets delayed further which is highly possible; it is Microsoft after all.
-
be patient, sp3 will only gain you 10 %
im impatient too but nothing we can do
-
Both my computers are in need of a format/reinstall, and I'd like to be able to slipstream SP3 onto the install disc instead of installing it separately, taking up extra disk space and being generally messy. -
I don't think it will offer 10% more than SP2. That seems illogical to me.
-
-
There are a *few* new additions other than security patches though. And it's possible that some of these have an impact on performance. -

Windows updates downloaded some patches last night. This morning when i booted up, i was taken to a webpage with the privacy policy of SP2 and 3. But when i check in the control panel --> system, it still says SP2.
Got me excited for no reason -
ya what jalf said
to make it simple
-
SP3? Excellent! Can't wait. Hopefully it'll be out sooner rather than later.
-
Fade To Black saying it wont be 10% gives me hope that it will be 10%.
If you catch my drift. -
Why is not RC2 recommended? I wanted to instal it, and it`s a good thing I stumbled upon this thread. So, why?
-
-
Exactly RC2 you would have to install then uninstall then probably best to defrag then install official... just a pain ... alot easier to install the final and it is NOT A FINAL version making it prone to bugs, glitchs etc
-
I didn`t know the official SP3 is coming out this fast. I thought it was due mid 2008.
Sweet, I wanted to format anyway, so slipstreaming it is the way to go -
Mippoose, I highly doubt the 10%. A few % yes, but not 10. The only benchmark I've seen so far is that useless Office benchmark.
-
I'll take any increase
-
Anything better is good.
