i can see that this subject has been covered, even a step by step guide, but my problem is the machine came with vista and my cad tool needs to run on xp pro.
Going through the step by step guide i found seemed to work until i tried booting the xp instal disk, it could not find the raid0 disks i have.
Can anyone point me in the right direction pls?
    cheers

You might have to research "slipstreaming" your RAID drivers onto the XP install disk. I'm not exactly sure how to do this, but there is a program called nLite that allows you to make a XP install disk with certain drivers necessary for your machine on it.
