This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    youtube firefox problems?

    I've noticed that sometimes when streaming more than about 5 videos on youtube in firefox (all tabbed), sometimes the sound doesn't play for the next video streamed. Usually I just stream the video in IE or Opera so I have it waiting to watch but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or knew how to fix it.

    It seems to also happen with dailymotion.com I have no idea if it happens with other sites that are similar.

    i personally do not think that this is a browser issue, but the availability of the bandwidth allowed to any "one" connection at the time. Same thing as when u r trying to download a bunch of files from ONE source. In the case of video/audio feed, it would cause delay and mis.sync when the bandwidth is busy or overloading
