    I think Commander Wolf tested with stock low resolution Vostro 1500/Inspiron 1520 LVDS cable and it worked with WUXGA.

    Yeah, based on what I've seen in 1520s and 1500s, I'm 99% sure there is only one LVDS cable type and that works with all the usual resolutions.

    I recommended the panels that I linked because those are the ones that I believe will work: I don't know about the panel that you linked.
