8600M GT freezes, bsod

    I bought my Dell Vostro 1500 from Germany folk on ebay January 2011.
    Meanwhile in about April or May it started with random bsod and freezes, until i realize that it was a GPU problem.
    Now i need to know if dell would give support because this is the chips that had the famous soldering problem or i have to solve this on my own.

    Sorry to inform you but you are late on the lawsuit, trade in and fix. Your best bet is to look on ebay for a replacement GPU. You could call Dell and ask to renew the warranty but that would cost you about $300 US and a replacement GPU is about $80. Though, if you get the new warranty, Dell may be willing to send you a replacement since this no longer in production.
