    I've already had a 6cell battery and now i'm going to buy a 9cell battery.
    Do I need another adaptor? I'm using dell vostro 1500

    nope, unless u want it to charge faster.

    Although, the dell laptop might regulate the current. i.e. putting an XPS 130W adapter on a 1500 will be limited to 90W output...
