Hi all, which E notebooks (or specifically which graphics adapters therein) can power the bigger Dell UltraSharp monitors with ease - such as this 30" one : UltraSharp U3011 30"W Monitor with PremierColor Details | Dell Hong Kong ?

I shall be light photoshop and web editing work mostly on the setup, so the notebook I am leaning towards a lighter-weight E4310 with an integrated HD, but can that adapter drive such a big external output ?

That's my key question - really appreciate someone who has worked with these 27 / 30 UltraSharp monitors to chime in.

From what I see at Dell Experience Centers in Hong Kong, these two UltraSharo monitors have some wicked color calibration / range / quality that gives the Apple Cinema Display 27" a run for their momey.

Anyone else feeling it ? or agaisnt it ?

Quadro versions of the E6410/E6510/E6400/E6500 can power the U3011 through the Display port. I am not sure on the Intel 4500 version.

Yup I've confirmed it, the Intel 4500HD. It's 2560x1600 capable.
