Since I reinstalled Windows 7 x64 I experience a considerable mouse lag whenever there are more than a few windows open. I have not found out if this behaviour is connected to any process in particular. But a typical scenario could be: a video playing in VLC, or a song playing in foobar2000, Firefox, Skype, Thunderbird, couple of explorer windows. Again - I can't say I can connect this to any of these programs.

But often when I move the mouse the pointer freezes for a few moments before it is catching up.

I did reinstall all drivers in their newest versions in the order recommended here, but it didn't help. All updates to the programs I use are installed as well.

Oh, and my mouse: Logitech M505 wireless mouse. Use it for years. Batteries are new.

I can't remember I experienced that behaviour when I used the factory isntalaltion of Windows 7 x64.

It would be great if some of you may have some advice. Also if it helps to provide more info, please let me know.

    Thanks so much!
