    Hi,

I have a latitude XT with a dell wireless g card.
I am considering putting a intel 5300 card in this computer.
But it's has only two antenna for the WLAN. And another two for WWAN which I don't have any use of.

Can I connect the WWAN antenna to the WLAN card?

    Thank you.

Connecting WWAN antennae to a WLAN card may work, but not very well because the design frequencies are completely different.

Why not replace you existing WLAN card?

I think that's what is being attempted, it's just that they want to use 3 antennas instead of just 2, which is why they want to "steal" a WWAN antenna to use as the 3rd antenna. I think.

In that case, they can but try and see if it helps. However, it might make things worse.

How about getting an Intel 5100? It only uses two antennas.
