I just switched over to 7 64-bit on my Latitude E6400, which I have I use with a docking station at home.
I am now getting sound but there is no bass at all. I am using highend headphones and there is definitley something wrong.

Do I need any drivers for this dock or am I just missing something?

Just ran into the same thing on an E6400 the other week. Go to the "Sound" control panel, select the playback device, click "Properties", then click on "Enhancements". Checking the box for "Disable all enhancements" fixed the issue for me. (Seems to be something funny in the driver that caused some sort of EQ to be in effect that defeated the lower frequencies.)
