Hey everyone, I just ordered this beast of a laptop (total price 4400$ ouch!) but decided to stick with the 1440x900 screen because I mostly do web design work and the high res paradoxially isnt ideal for my kind of work.

I was wondering what people thought of the 1440x900 screen? How is the color saturation and contrast levels? Im coming from a MBP 15" which I thought was excellent in both departments

    Thanks for any feedback!

I would think with any kind of work you would want the most screen real estate.

Real estate is a low priority in my work, I need to be able to see fine detail with as little as photoshop zoom as possible (which means lower resolutions fit my work better). The very high resolution screens blur the very pixel to pixel detail into a small space so that you have to zoom in on any region that you are working on.

Anyways, I know people dont like low resolution because movies etc look bad on them, but resolution doesnt concern me. Im more concerned with color accuracy and contrast ratios etc..

thanks for any opinions on that
