Just wondering if anyone here is interested in the M6600, but are kinda sitting on the fence waiting until they offer the RGBLED IPS panel?

    I know I am :)

You know they still sell the HP Elitebook 8470W if you want a 17" IPS mobile workstation. ;)

I'm not touching a HP laptop ever again. Besides, it doesn't meet my requirements for my new laptop. The M6600 does.

I definitely am as well - as well as the HP 8760w.

One of the things that bugs me about the Dell is no extra modular battery options like the HP. And the HP won't have the m8900. So your best option will the 5010 which I am sure will cost north of 1000.

Anyone have experience with the Dell keyboards? Howdoes it compare with the thinkpads?

Dell keyboards are a complete crapshoot. Some have a slight flex, some don't even being the same P/N.

ThinkPads minus the T400/T500 have been very consistent with their keyboards, though I find the older D series Latitudes are on par with ThinkPad keyboards.
