Battery life on e6400

    My Microsoft wireless mouse dongle is rated at 5V 100mA, (=0.5W) while the dongle for the Logitech V220 says 55mA, = just under 0.3W which is 2 to 4% of the likely power when running on battery, so the penalty is not a lot.

    I lost faith in that article when I got to the arithmetic (5V x 200mA actually = 1W, not 0.1W). However, the last paragraph is significant:

    While using a BT mouse does not involve a lot of data transfer, there is a significant system overhead in maintain communication. I think the USB wireless mice have less of a system overhead.

    5hrs or more if i use the touchpad
    3hrs more or less if i use a bluetooth mouse for ragnarok online
