    Hi,

I would like to get a good quality/price cooling pad for my precision m4500. There is already a big fan on the left and it keeps irritating me since i'm left handed. I do several gaming on my laptop and it gets pretty hot. I don't mind the weight of the cooling pad since I will almost be using it on my home desk. I would like the cooling pad to be not too noisy. I would like to pay around 30$. LED lightning and other funky visual design are not what I am looking for.

I'm looking at zalman or nzxt cryo xl cooling pad but I think they are a bit expensive... give me some other alternatives or sell me the other two.

    Thank you.

Cooling pads aren't very effective, active cooling tends to increase dust inside the laptop, which makes it worse. I've found passive cooling (like elevating the back of the laptop) to be the most effective. If you're gaming, there's no way to avoid heat coming out the side.

I recommend checking out the Coolermaster Infinity. It does quite well for my E6500. I can easily keep the laptop @ 35c~ under load, and around 55c-60c for the gpu under load when running the laptop/cooler's fans to max.
