    Hello there,

    I have Vostro 1520 and Windows 7 64 bit

Today I would reflashing my BIOS to A02 because of my fan problem in A08 I used some tricks to dodge the no older version messege and worked well. But it freezed during installation. I had to remove battery to shut it down.
When I press the power button the lock lights lighen up and won't appear anything on the screen. I removed battery and still have the same problem. It won't go to Diagnosis Page after holding FN and Power button as well.
I know that there is no BIOS that can be loaded up now cause it crashed once so nothing will show up. I've searched a lot and tried a lot what others said but still have the same problem.

Can I re-install BIOS by myself? What would you suggest me to do?

I would call DELL support and keep my mouth shut about my own stupidity that caused this...

Seriously: try it. I locked myself out of the BIOS once and they had a factory workaround. They might have tricks up their sleeves for this kind of situation also.

Thanks dude, I gave it a shot, but they didn't help me... you know a better place on Dell to ask for a technical question?

    It's become a total mess!

I suggest you keep phoning Dell support until you get someone who knows
what they're talking about. I've dealt with knowledgable people, and I dealt
with complete morons (support-wise). Or is your warranty period over ?

There is certainly a way to load the BIOS from a USB drive or similar. You
just have to find out what it is they'd do to fix your system.
