    Hello all,

Great place here, found a lot of information already.

Question, does anybody know if there is a Windows 7 compatible driver for the Broadcom Gigabit Controller out there?

I can install Windows 7 on my D600, all "old" drivers work (except for touchpad but update is available). Yet, I can not get online cause the driver for Broadcom does not work.

I contacted them 3 times, got no answers.

Anyone has any ideas? I even contacted Dell, but besides XP drivers, they don't supply any others.

Thank you so much for any input.

    Ciao!

The last time I tried 7 on a D600 it found the Broadcom driver automatically. You can try Windows Update, an XP or Vista driver, but it really should "just work". Else your NIC might be going bad... seemed to be a fairly common issue with the D600.

I too put Win 7 on a D600 and had no problems with the NIC at all. I used the one at the link below.

Have you tried loading Device Manager and automatically searching for the driver on the internet?
