My brother broke the wifi connector to the wifi card (taking out the screw). It was the black wire. I plugged in the black wire from the cellular card. Is this very bad? I don't feel like taking apart the lcd and using another wire.

Does it work? I would expect it to, but with reduced range because the cellular antenna is designed for a different frequency.

The connection is OK, but erratic. I guess I'll open it up some day. Darn! I wish he would have disconnected the antenna first.

The actual antenna isn't very expensive, just annoying to replace.
