I want to install Windows 7 on my Dell Vostro 1520. Can I face any problem with CAD softwares like CATIA, NX, Inventor, Solidworks, Ansys etc.

It really depends on the software. Your best bet is to visit the manufacturer's website and see if it is Windows 7 compatible.
