I have an m6400 already but the battery just doesn't quite work for me at school. I could sell it, snag an m4400 + slice, get a netbook, or keep my m6400 and somehow make the battery last longer. I suppose I could just put it to sleep and change batteries but that seems ... uncool.. lol

I'm pretty sure this is impossible. You'd have to mod both the slice and the M6400 for electrical and physical connections, as neither are meant to work with each other. Hell, I don't think the M6400 has any connections on the underside with which you could work...

You're probably better off getting the M4400 or carrying a power brick with you.

Personally i would rather have a netbook with 8+ hours battery life and a decent pc for real work than a smaller notebook that will still have limited battery but you may need the power.

You can buy a slice for it, they have it, when i was just playing around with the outlet item machine. It was an option, give a call to dell business.
