I have a VZW USB1000 Global USB Modem, the one with the Verizon/Vodafone SIM card built in, that can be used internationally. Just wondering if Dell's DW5620 WWAN card would work the same, or if it's limited to US networks. I know the Verizon software has a switch to put the modem in "Global" mode, so that may be a mode that the Dell supplied client may not support. My laptop is an E6510, which has the SIM card slot.

Sure looks like it can do it.... I looked on mine and Vodafone EU UMTS is one of the choices in the network selection screen for this card. There are two other EU choices, Verizon and Generic...
